Work shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and services, incidental and implied, for the completion of work as described herein. All items not specifically mentioned in the specifications, but which obviously are required to make the job complete, shall be included in the bid. Quantities should be verified prior to bid. The general scope of work to include in the bid is as follows: o Mobilize equipment. o Excavate to subgrade elevation (12"). o Properly dispose of excess material off-site. o Place and compact base material (8"). o Fine grade base material. o Place and compact hot mix asphalt (Surface C) (4 inches) (+/- 285 SY). o Dress work area. o Before work commences, an encroachment permit from Dorchester County Public Works will need to be obtained. o Contractor must carefully read and comply with all other requirements, terms, and conditions found in this solicitation.
