Sidewalk/Concrete Repair The City of Franklin reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all bids. Questions should be addressed to the Finance Director in writing by Wednesday, August 02, 2023. Questions submitted after this date will not be answered. If the answer materially affectsthis procurement, the information will be issued in an addendum. Written communications should be addressed as follows: City of Franklin Attn: Finance Director Bid 2024-05 117 West Cedar Street Franklin, Kentucky 42134 OR Fax 270-586-9419 OR E-mail carol.riggenbach@franklinky.org Contractor shall also cooperate and coordinate with City Scheduler regarding said construction. Also, Contractor's bid as set forth in Section Two includes all labor, materials, equipment, and clean-up to perform and complete the designated work. The contractor shall remove certain portions of existing substandard concrete sidewalks in multiple locations within the City of Franklin, as said sections of sidewalks are identified to Contractor by City of Franklin staff members. The sidewalks to be replaced are located in the areas identified on Exhibit 1, Exhibit 2 and Exhibit 3. Once removed, the sidewalks shall be replaced in accordance with the following specifications: the sidewalk replacements shall include a 2" thick gravel base and be completed with 4,000 psi broom finish concrete. The replacement sidewalks shall be poured four (4) inches thick with one-half inch (1/2") rebar installed prior to pouring the concrete sidewalks. The bid shall be submitted priced on a per square foot basis (including removal and replacement) and shall include pouring and installation of any driveway aprons, when applicable and as requested by City staff members.
