The Municipality is not obligated to accept the lowest price or highest scoring bid. 2. In addition to any other express rights or any other rights that may be implied in the circumstances, the Municipality reserves the right to do any or all of the following: 1. request written clarification in relation to a Bidders bid; 2 .verify with any Bidder, or with a third party, any information set out in a bid; 3 .request and check references regarding a Bidders previous experience; 4. reject any bid that contains misrepresentations or any other inaccurate or misleading information; 5 reject any bid if the Municipality determines that the Bidder has engaged in any prohibited conduct; 6 reject any bid that, in the opinion of the Municipality, contains unbalanced or unreasonable pricing; 7. amend the Bid Documents without liability at any time; 8. cancel this solicitation without liability at any time; 9. issue a new solicitation for the same or similar deliverables as contemplated under this solicitation, and/or choose to conduct the work using the Municipalitys own forces; and 10 reject any or all bids.
