The work includes all activities necessary for the demolition and installation of multiple sizes of PNNL monuments, building monuments, wayfinding monuments, and map monuments. This will include the demolition of existing signs, excavation, concrete work, landscaping, and electrical for each of the monuments. Also included in this work is to remove building name lettering from the building facades, adding building address lettering to the building facades, and updating all existing ~24"x20" building identification placards. Project Complete ready for use, No Later Than, 12/31/2023. The amount of the bid guarantee shall be 20% percent of the bid price or $3,000,000, whichever is less. DATE OF COMMENCEMENT. The Work shall commence within five (5) calendar days of Contractor's receipt of Notice to Proceed (NTP) unless the parties mutually agree otherwise in writing. Permits and Licenses: Bidder shall submit the Certificate of License number, which grants them the authority to Work as a Contractor in the State, County and/or Municipality where the Work is to be performed. If Bidder does not have such license or certificate, a copy of the application for it must be submitted with an estimate of time required to obtain it. (a) Performance bonds - Unless BATTELLE determines that a lesser amount is adequate for the protection of the Laboratory and the Government, the penal amount of performance bonds must equal 100 percent of the original contract price; and If the contract price increases, an additional amount equal to 100 percent of the increase. (b) Payment bonds - Unless BATTELLE makes a written determination supported by specific findings that a payment bond in this amount is impractical, the amount of the payment bond must equal - 100 percent of the original contract price; and If the contract price increases, an additional amount equal to 100 percent of the increase. The amount of the payment bond must be no less than the amount of the performance bond.
