The Lincoln County Forestry, Land and Parks Department is seeking to contract with an individual or entity to design, construct and install new vault toilet facilities at the New Wood Campground and Haymeadow Park. Proposals must conform to the requirements of the specifications and instructions. Quotations will be prepared for consideration by the Lincoln County Forestry, Land and Parks Committee at the August 14, 2023 Committee meeting. The Committee reserves the right to reject any or all quotations and accept any quotation or portion thereof they deem most advantageous to Lincoln County. Bid must be accompanied by a bond in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or money order in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to the Lincoln County Forestry, Land and Parks Department. The bond of unsuccessful bidders shall be returned. The bond for the successful bidder shall be retained or may be replaced by an acceptable Letter of Credit. Bond or Letter of Credit will be returned when the project is satisfactorily completed. Issuance of this request for proposal does not confer any rights to any prospective proposer and does not obligate Lincoln County to engage in any procurement or to purchase. Any costs associated with the preparation of a response to this request shall be the sole responsibility of the person submitting the proposal. The project consists of constructing a new vault toilet facility at the New Wood Campground and construction of a new vault toilet facility at Haymeadow County Park. The existing facilities at these two locations are not ADA accessible and in need of replacement. The new toilet facilities will be constructed at different locations than the current ones. Construction must be started after September 4, 2023 (Labor Day) and completed before 4:00 PM on November 3, 2023.
