Tenants in units on various floors and adjacent to the end concrete shear walls have experienced water infiltration for a number of years. The existing exterior doors and windows are 36 years old and at the end of their useful service life. The existing balconies have damage to the slab edges and at various locations throughout the building. The building interior lacks adequate mechanical ventilation and the existing electric baseboard heaters are inadequate to properly heat the building and expensive to operate. Bathurst/Adelaide (575 Adelaide Street West) consists of 4-storey and 7-storey building totaling 150 units and was built in 1983. Toronto Community Housing Corporation (TCHC) is seeking a Vendor for the provision of construction services at 575 Adelaide Street West.
