Brick Paver Re-Lay Project The town of Somerset is in the process of refurbishing the town's WWII memorial at 1464 County St in Somerset MA. Remove existing bricks, slabs and granite curbs Install compacted gravel and sand base (4" of gravel, 2" ofsand) Extend 6X20 area for new bricks Re-install bricks and curbing, supply new bricks for extension area Supply and install polymeric sand for all joints. (5OOsf) Supply all materials, equipment, and labor for project Provide Cleanup ofwork site to include removal ofwaste or unused materials Loom and Over-seed affected boundaries of brick border Contractor must guarantee work for a period of at least 10 years Any cracks, damage, or deficiency to bricks and overall project must be addressed, fixed, and repaired, at no cost to the town for a period of 10 years. Damage associated to nonnatural break down, such as a malicious act, accident, or catastrophic event such as an earth quake, is excluded from this requirement. The town reserves the right to disqualify any quote/bid or company, for any reason up until the contract is awarded.
