Number: AC-NHPP-G-217-1(008)E Superstructure Replacement and Substructure Rehabilitation for Bridge No. 21090 on US 522 over I-70 Eastbound and I-70 Ramp to US 522 Southbound. The 3 span steel girder bridge has span lengths of 73, 84, and 45 for a length of 202, with a proposed clear roadway of 23 Southbound and 29 Northbound. Project includes removal of existing bridge superstructure, rehabilitaiton of the bridge substructure, 0.59 miles of approach roadway work, placement of new traffic barriers, signing, and installation of permanent pavement striping. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained with staged construction Pre-Bid Conference: A Pre Bid Conference will not be held for this project. Minimum wage rates for each Project, if applicable, have been pre-determined by law and are set forth in the Invitation for Bids (IFB). Bids must only be made upon the latest electronic proposal forms (and attachments) that are furnished by the Administration. In accordance with State Finance and Procurement Title 13 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, no bid, performance or payment bonds are required for bids less than $100,000.00. However, bids $100,000.00 and above will not be considered unless a Bid Security is submitted as outlined in the Invitation for Bids. Bid Security shall equal at least five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. Also, the successful bidder will be required to supply Payment and Performance Bonds for all Contracts in excess of $100,000.00. The MDOT SHA reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
