Number: AC-NHPP-G-121-1(044)E This project, located in Prince George's County, is for the resurfacing and safety improvements to MD 5 (Branch Avenue) from Old Branch Avenue to Curtis Drive for approximately 1.57 miles along the divided highway northbound and southbound of MD 5 between mile marker 13.100 and 14.674, with extended resurfacing and safety improvements along the ramps from MD 5 to MD 414 for an additional 0.88 miles (4652 feet) for a total project length of 2.45 miles. Pre-Bid Conference: A Pre Bid Conference will not be held for this project. Minimum wage rates for each Project, if applicable, have been pre-determined by law and are set forth in the Invitation for Bids (IFB). Bids must only be made upon the latest electronic proposal forms (and attachments) that are furnished by the Administration. In accordance with State Finance and Procurement Title 13 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, no bid, performance or payment bonds are required for bids less than $100,000.00. However, bids $100,000.00 and above will not be considered unless a Bid Security is submitted as outlined in the Invitation for Bids. Bid Security shall equal at least five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. Also, the successful bidder will be required to supply Payment and Performance Bonds for all Contracts in excess of $100,000.00. The MDOT SHA reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
