THIS PROJECT IS BEING CANCELLED. WE PLAN TO RE-VISIT SPECIFICATIONS AND RE-SOLICIT IN THE NEAR FUTURE New target system and lighting upgrades at short range Controls for entry gate (gate installed by others). Lighting upgrades at paring, outside of short and long ranges. Lighting at long range. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid price. Bond shall be issued by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Tennessee. Performance bonds must be filed with the purchasing department within ten (10) working days after the contract has been issued. In lieu of a bond, cashier's checks are acceptable, personal checks are not. In the event that the successful bidder fails to furnish a performance bond and execute a contract within the time period allowed, the bid deposit of the bidder shall be retained by the city as liquidated damages and not as a penalty. The attached Insurance Checklist (which includes a section for the Insurance agent to fillout) and General Contract Form shall be completed and returned with the bid package. Successful vendor shall provide certificate of insurance, as specified, prior to contract release by Purchasing. The Contractor is responsible for furnishing the proper licenses, fees, and permits require by law to do business in the City of Johnson *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
