For the following project: SFY 2022 Road Reconstruction/Improvement Project Pompano Drive from Long Beach Blvd to Westerly End: The Project Involves Approximately 900 Tons Of Hot Mix Asphalt Pavement Courses, 4355 SY Pavement Milling, thirteen (13) Drainage Structures, 1185 LF of 8-inch Drainage Pipe, and Restoration Including Road Restriping, Driveway, Restoration, Landscaping and Cleanup. A Buy America Compliance Plan is required to confirm that the material meets the Buy America requirements and the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act ("IIJA"), Pub. L. No. 117-58, which includes the Build America, Buy America Act ("the Act"). Pub. L. No. 117-58, 70901-52 as specified in 106.03. See Special Provisions Section 106. No downloaded documents will be accepted as we cannot guarantee accuracy. Bids may be submitted by mail or in person at any time prior to the time for receiving and opening the same at the Township Finance Office. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et. seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. The Township of Long Beach reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any and all bids. A Bid Bond drawn to the order of the Township of Long Beach in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid must be submitted with the proposal as bid security, but not more than $20,000.00. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond for the amount of the total bid within ten (10) days from the date of written acceptance of his proposal. Certificates of Insurance will also be required. The Township of Long Beach hereby reserves the right to consider the bids for sixty (60) days after the receipt thereof. The Township further reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject any or all bids submitted, but any contract awarded will be to the lowest responsible bidder based on the lowest Total Bid Amount and to make such awards or take such action as may be in the best interest of the Township.
