Electrical upgrades of four electrical rooms at the Wastewater Treatment Plant in Whistler, BC. The plant is owned and operated by the Resort Municipality of Whistler and is located at 1135 Cheakamus Road, Whistler, BC. The work consists of the following upgrades in Electrical Rooms 1, 2, 5 and 9: Removal and disposal of the existing Motor Control Centre (MCC) in each electrical room. Removal and disposal of the existing PLC controller rack and associated remote I/O rack in each electrical room. Supply and installation of a new MCC in each electrical room and associated housekeeping pads and supports as required. Installation of Owner-supplied PLC equipment in each electrical room. Identification, supply, installation, termination, dressing, and labelling of cabling and wiring to support the equipment installations. Programming, testing, and commissioning of VFDs, starters and miscellaneous programmable components supplied as part of the MCC assembly, by the manufacturer’s representative or a certified third party, not identified as being programmed by others. Provision of assistance through testing and commissioning of the PLC’s by the RMOW’s preferred programming Consultant.
