The City of Birmingham, Michigan is accepting sealed bid proposals from qualified companies to establish a contract for painting services for various city owned amenities such as metal, wood and plastic material in addition to city owned buildings (see page 3). The proposal for this work must cover all contingencies, including all labor and material, scaffolding, equipment, rigging, tools, transportation, necessary prep work for the complete service on everything described, shown or reasonably implied herein. These specifications include all labor, materials, equipment, etc., necessary to perform the services. Exact quantities or work are unknown and the City of Birmingham is not obligated to order or accept more than the actual requirements during the period of this contract, as determined by actual needs and availability of appropriated funds. The term "paint" as used herein includes enamels, paints, stains, weatherproofs, sealers, fillers, emulsions, and other coatings whether used a prime, intermediate or finish coat.
