This project consists of a principal project area with multiple alternatives. The total project site consists of the removal of 172,331 sf of existing asphalt and gravel surfaces, an existing building and retaining wall, addition of asphalt, concrete, curb and gutter, retaining walls and utilities. The principal project area will consist of the front parking area, fences, utilities, and asphalt around the existing building for uses of the building. Storm drain infrastructure will also be added to the existing infrastructure. Alternatives will consist of the rest of the yard improvements along the removal of the existing building on the western side of the property Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond acceptable to the Owner, in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the Proposal, payable without condition to the Owner as a guaranty that the bidder, if awarded the contract, will promptly execute the agreement in accordance with the Proposal and the other Contract Documents, and will furnish good and sufficient bond for the faithful performance of the same, and for the payment to all persons supplying labor and material for the work. The successful bidder, simultaneously with the execution of the contract, will be required to furnish a faithful Performance Bond in an amount equal to a one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount and a Labor and Material Payment Bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount; said bonds shall be secured from a surety company satisfactory to the Owner. The forms of the bond the successful bidder will be required to execute are included in the Contract Documents. The bid shall be legible, written in ink or typed on the forms furnished by the County and shall be completely executed by the bidder in ink in his full signature. Any omission of the prices on such items as shown on the bid forms with any addition in writing to the form of the bid or any condition, limitation or provision will render the proposal informal and may cause its rejection. Offerors shall send any questions, clarifications or issues with Bidding documents and/or plans through the U3P portal up to July 28, 2023, 4:00 PM local Mountain Standard Time. In order to allow time for response prior to Bid Opening. The project is to be completed within 60 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed Document provided to the Contractor.
