Contract No. 1 - General Rehabilitation - Base Bid 58 Ames Street - Base Bid - Furnish and Install various rehabilitation materials and labor to include: Furnish and Install New Metal Roofing, New Vinyl Gutters, New Vinyl Siding and Appurtenances, Twelve (12) New Vinyl Replacement Windows, and New Exterior Door. Additionally, the Base Bid will also require new smoke & carbon monoxide detectors along with lead hazard rehabilitation work items. The attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to lead certifications. The contractor will ensure that to the greatest extent feasible opportunities for training and employment arising in connection with this NYS AHC-assisted project will be extended to lower-income project area residents. Further, the contractor will, to the greatest extent feasible, utilize business concerns located in or substantially owned by residents ofthe project area, in the award of contracts and purchase ofservices and supplies The Contractor shall furnish all necessary materials, supplies, labor, plant and equipment and install all work necessary to complete, in a workmanlike manner and fully operable, the work specified and described in the plans, specifications and related contract documents pertaining to rehabilitation work to the Owner's property which is located at: 58 Ames Street, Massena NY 13662.
