The Department of Land and Natural Resources, Division of State Parks Kauai District office is requesting bids for septic pumping at various Kauai State Parks facilities. All questions regarding pumping and the related schedules are to be directed and approved by David Tsuchiya, District Superintendent. The telephone number at which he may be reached is (808) 346-3921, facsimile (808) 274-3448, email: david.h.tsuchiya@hawaii.gov The Department of Land & Natural Resources, Division of State Park's Kauai District Office is requesting bids for septic tank pumping at the following park facilities. We will be listing each park site with a description of the tank size(s) with an anticipated amount of pumping that will be required for the duration of September 1, 2023 through February 28, 2025 for a duration of 18 months. Your bid should reflect the cost for each facility as described as a line item, but the total bid amount submitted must be for all facilities. This contract is to service all parks listed below. A. 1 pump will equal (2) 2000 gal tanks as needed for the Polihale State Park - (at least one time and not more than 6 times during the one year contract). Bid amount should be for six pumps. Payment will be made after each completed service. B. 1 pump will equal (2) 3000 gallon tanks as needed at Waimea Canyon State Park - Waimea Canyon Lookout (at least one time and not more than 6 times during the one year contract.) Bid amount should be for six pumps. Payment will be made after each completed service. C. 1 pump will equal (1) 2500 gallon tank as needed for Russian Fort State Park - (at least one time and not more than 2) Bid amount should be for two pumps. Payment will be made after each completed service. D. 1 pump will equal (1) 3000 gallon tank as needed at Waimea State Recreational Pier - (at least one time and not more than 3). Bid amount should be for three pumps. Payment will be made after each completed service. E. 1 pump will equal (2) 1500 gallon tanks as needed for Puu Ka Pele picnic area - (at least one time and not more than 2). Bid amount should be for two pumps. Payment will be made after each completed service. F. 1 pump will equal (1) 4000 gallon tank as needed for Puu Hina Hina Lookout (at least one time and not more than 2). Bid amount should be for two pumps. Payment will be made after each completed service. G. 1 pump will equal (2) 2500 gallon tanks as needed for Kalalau Lookout (at least one time and not more than 2). Bid amount should be for two pumps. Payment will be made after each completed service. H. 1 pump will equal (1) 800 gallon tank as needed for Kokee main pavilion (at least one time and not more than 6). Bid amount should be for six pumps. Payment will be made after each completed service. I. 1 pump will equal (1) 2000 gallon tank as needed for Wailua Kaumualii boat ramp park (at least one time and not more than 2). Bid amount should be for two pumps. Payment will be made after each completed service. J. 1 pump will equal (2) 1500 gallon tanks as needed for Kee Beach State Park (at least one time and not more than 4 times during the contract period). Bid amounts should be for four pumps. Payment will be made after each completed pump service. K. 1 pump will equal (2) 2000 gallon tanks as needed for the Wailua River State Park Opaekaa Falls Lookout (at least one time and not more than six times during the contract period. Bid amounts should be for six pumps. Payment will be made after each completed pump service. Please note that services will require the complete pumping / removal of all liquids and solids (total tank volume) from each tank being serviced.
