To surface an existing area of 70x70 and Paint lines to create a basketball court. The contractor is to supply a quote for materials and labor costs to surface the entire area and paint basketball lines to create a basketball court, which has existing hoops on site. The area needs to be surfaced with a product that can stand up to having skateboards, scooters, bikes, roller skates and the like on it Grind, power sand, clean and prime mildew peeled areas with Adhesion Promote or equivalent, as needed. Fill cracks and minor divots with Acrylic Patch Binder or Acrylic Crack Patch, or equivalent, and sand as needed. Shim and sand patched crack areas with 2 coats of Rubberized Acrylic Resurfacer filler coating, or equivalent, as needed. Total area of 70 x 70 to receive 2 coats of SportMaster Acrylic Resurfacer Filler coating, or equivalent. Total area of 70 x 70 to receive 2 coats of SportMaster SkateMaster ColorPlus coating, or equivalent. Color TBD Apply 1 set of regulation white basketball lines approximately- 66x 52 The Town anticipates issuing a letter of intent by August 24, 2023, to be followed as soon as possible by a contract. Completion of the project will be done by Spring 2024. Furnish: The contractor provide and deliver to the site all required materials and supplies. The contractor will pay for all labor necessary to load and unload equipment, materials, and supplies.
