The City of Malibu is seeking a qualified security services company to upgrade an existing Kantech card access system at City Hall and expand the system to include doors at a remote site. Proposals should also include a full-service maintenance/support contract for new and existing equipment, an upgrade to the current Kantech software, and 24/7 monitoring of the integrated intrusion detection/panic button system. Inquiries should be directed by email only to AMontano@malibucity.org. No verbal requests will be accepted. All requests for clarification must be received by Friday, August 3, 2023. SCOPE OF WORK The project has four components: a software upgrade, a City Hall equipment upgrade, Michael Landon Center equipment installation, and ongoing Monitoring/Maintenance/Support of the entire system. 1. Software Upgrade Upgrade the current Entrapass Corporate Edition 7.40.24 to the newest version available. Upgrading the current system will require 1 "token". Other components of this Scope of Work may require more tokens to make upgrading and expanding possible. 2. The City Hall equipment upgrade will include the following: o 4 keypad/readers for exterior doors o 36 standard readers o 2 thin mullion-mounted readers Attachment 1 - Current standard readers Attachment 2 - Current mullion-mounted readers Attachment 3 - Current exterior door readers
