The Citys Compliance Officer is the Procurement and Disbursements Manager, and specific questions pertaining to this section may be directed to the Procurement Services Division at (425) 452-7876. Work contemplated to be performed under this contract is as follows: o Remove Cement Concrete Curb and Gutter, Asphalt Pavement and Concrete Pavement o Remove Cement Concrete Sidewalk o Install Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons and/ Illumination o Construct Cement Concrete Curb and Gutter o Construct Cement Concrete Sidewalk o Construct Median Island o Construct ADA Ramps o Property Restoration and Miscellaneous Work A Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Goal of 11% has been established for this project. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the form of cash, certified check, cashier's check or surety bond in an amount equal to at least 5% of the amount of such bid. Checks shall be made payable to the City Treasurer. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish a satisfactory performance and payment bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid bond shall be forfeited to the City of Bellevue. The City of Bellevue reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities and informalities in the bidding process. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date and time set for the opening thereof. The successful bidder must comply with the City of Bellevue equal opportunity requirements.
