The scope of the project includes the construction of a new 30,000 SF addition to the existing district office building and renovations to the lower and upper levels of the district office building. The work includes various trades such as excavation, concrete, masonry, structural steel, carpentry, ceilings, doors and windows, roofing, metal wall panels, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and pavement. Blackhawk Technical College reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities in bidding, or to accept the bid or bids, which best serve the interests of the Owner. A certified check or satisfactory Bid Bond payable to Blackhawk Technical College in the amount of 5% of the bid shall accompany each bid as a guarantee. If the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the Agreement, the Contract Performance Bond and Payment Bond, as required by the Contract Documents, within ten (10) days after the Notice of Award of the Contract by Blackhawk Technical College.
