The Work of the project includes, but is not limited to, the restoration and new construction of the Fairhope Municipal Pier parking lot, park, waterfront, and pier. The parking lot will be renovated using approximately 900 tons of asphalt, 5,800 SY of brick pavers, and 3,000 LF of concrete curb. The park will be renovated with new landscaping and irrigation, approximately 3,900 SY of concrete sidewalk, a new restroom building, and associated water and sewer. The waterfront will be renovated with approximately 8,900 SF (face) of modular block seawall. The fountain will be renovated with a new pool and restoration of the existing centerpiece. The pier will be renovated with new handrail and lighting, and the restrooms refurbished. Stairs at the bluff will be replaced with new stairs. . Four hundred thirty-five (435) calendar days are allowed for the construction of the project. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to THE CITY OF FAIRHOPE in an amount not less than five (5%) percent of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000, must accompany the bidder's proposal. Performance and statutory Labor and material Payment Bonds, insurance in compliance with requirements, and verification .
