The Contractor shall possess a State of California Class A contractors license or combination of Class C-12 Earthwork and Paving Contractor, C-27 Landscaping Contractor, and C-32 Parking and Highway Improvement Contractor licenses at the time bids are received by the Town and throughout the execution of the contract. Hiram Lewis Pickleball Courts and Improvements 2023 The work consists of Construction of four (4) new pickleball courts adjacent to existing tennis courts, parking lot ADA improvements, landscaping, patio, and park amenities. The Engineer's Estimate for construction of this work is $396,000 Question Deadline 07/27/2023 Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check payable to the Town of Windsor or a satisfactory bid bond in favor of the Town of Windsor executed by the bidder as principal, and a satisfactory surety company, licensed as such in the State of California, as surety, in an amount not less than 10% of the maximum amount of the bid. The check or bid bond shall be given as a guarantee that the bidder shall execute the contract, if awarded to him, in conformity with the contract documents and shall provide the statutory performance bond, and labor and materials bond for 100% of the contract price, conditioned upon the faithful performance of said contract, said bonds to be provided within ten (10) days, not including Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays, after notification of the award of the contract to the bidder. The Windsor Town Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to determine which proposal is the lowest bid of a responsible bidder. The Windsor Town Council also reserves the right to waive any nonconformity not material to the cost of performance in the said proposals or bids.
