The City of West Jordan requests proposals from the 2023 qualified approved vendor pool (Consultant) with expertise in Roadway and Transportation Design for the proposed improvements of 6200 South from 5600 West to Dixie Drive located in the City of West Jordan and Kearns Metro Township. 6200 South is an arterial street owned and maintained jointly by the City of West Jordan, the City of Taylorsville, and Kearns Metro Township (KMT). The current pavement condition of 6200 South is considered poor along the stretch of the proposed project. In particular, the south lane of 6200 South from approximately 4520 West to approximately 4390 West has a failing pavement condition coinciding with the failure of a subsurface storm drainpipe. The storm drain is anticipated to be reconstructed before the start of the construction of the proposed overlay project. If you need more information on this event, please contact: Joey Bryant +1 801-569-5729 Joe.bryant@westjordan.utah.gov Question Submission Close Date: 7/26/2023 10:00 AM MDT City of West Jordan roadway design standards will be followed. The project will need to be ready to bid by January 17, 2024. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received, and to select the proposal deemed to be the most advantageous and in the best interest of the City. Non-acceptance of a proposal will mean that one or more others were deemed more advantageous to the City or that all proposals were rejected. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
