The project consists of the renovation of Bangor City Hall located at 73 Harlow Street in the City of Bangor. Scope includes improved accessibility, facility modernization and optimal floor plan continuity to the current building. The primary area of focus is the First Floor to locate the following departments; Assessing Office, City Clerk's Office, Code Enforcement, Economic Development, Planning and Treasury. Work includes separate public and staff toilet facilities, meeting rooms, new elevator addition, and relocation of Council Chambers. The Basement, Second and Third Floors will receive elevator lobbies, new ceiling systems and selective light fixture replacement. Work will also include new building-wide mechanical system. Project consists of the construction of the complete renovation and reconfiguration of the first floor and select renovations within all other floors of the City Hall Building. The HVAC and electrical systems will be impacted and upgraded and a new elevator is to be provided for the building. All correspondence in connection with this Project will be addressed to bids@bangormaine.gov no later than Monday, July 31, 2023. The City will issue Addenda as necessary in response to any questions or inquiries raised at Pre-Bid Meeting or submitted in writing. The last day in which RFI’s were to be submitted was 8/4/23.
