Cherokee Nation Entertainment, LLC. (CNE), a wholly owned tribal company of the Cherokee Nation is seeking proposals from qualified bids for split fail fence at the Cherokee Nation Prison Museum 124 E. Choctaw St. Tahlequah, OK 74464. 1.) Contractor should remove all existing fences and poles from the property and replace them with new split rail fencing and poles. 2.) Can re-use existing holes for the new poles as it coordinates with the property layout. 3.) Contractor is responsible for building new gates and furnishing all gate hardware to match the iron hardware style. All hardware should be black in color. 4.) Concrete will be used for the poles unless otherwise noted that a better solution could be used. 5.) Contractor is responsible for disposing of all the old fence, clean-up, and any damage other than natural work-related causes to the grounds. 6.) A possible timeframe of completion will need to be added to the bid. 7.) If deemed necessary, work performed may need to be after hours or on closed days. This will be determined by Project Management. 8.) Completion date by Sept 1 if possible. All questions will need to be emailed to brandy.calico@cnent.com by Monday, July 17th, 2023, at 4:00 pm. BONDING NOTICE CNE generally requires payment and performance bonds for all construction contracts in excess of $100,000. However, qualified TERO-certified firms are encouraged to bid, regardless of bonding capability. In accordance with Cherokee Nation Law, 28 C.N.C.A. 20 no contractors or subcontractors of any Cherokee Nation entity may contract with any business owned by a first degree relative of any elected official of the Cherokee Nation.
