For the furnishing of all labor and materials required for the performance of said work. Payment ofPA Prevailing Wage Rates is required. One construction contract will be awarded provided the successful bid is within the funding limitations. This project will be paid on a lump sum basis with liquid fuel funds. Work includes full-depth pavement patching of limited areas and applying approximately 2,818 square yards of asphalt seal coat/tar and chip to three (3) local roads in accordance with the Drawings, Project Manual and PennDOT Publication 408, latest edition. All Contractors submitting a bid for this project must purchase the documents in order to be registered to receive addenda and notices. Proposals shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check made payable to Jennerstown Borough in an amount equal to 10% ofthe base bid. No Bidder may withdraw a bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening. Jennerstown Borough reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory insurance certificates and Performance and Payment Bonds. The successful Bidder will be required to fully complete all work within 75 days of receipt ofthe Notice to Proceed. The Notice to Proceed is expected to be issued on or about August 17, 2023.
