The project consists of the reconstruction of Housing Authority Offices, two (2) Community Rooms, Toilet Rooms, Laundry Room, Maintenance Workshop, Floodproofing the Basement and First Floor, New HVAC System for the First Floor Bidder shall submit with the bid an electronic bid bond or electronic copy of a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total price bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00, payable unconditionally to the Englewood Housing Authority, along with a Certificate (Consent of Surety) with Power of Attorney for the full amount of the bid price from a Surety Company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and said Surety will furnish a consolidated Performance and Payment Bond in amounts of 100% of the successful Bidder's contract. If the Bidder is to submit a certified check or cashier's check it must be received at the Authority no later than the time stated above at and labeled clearly The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any identified informalities or technicalities in the bidding, sever or make awards of all or parts of any bids to one of more responsible bidders if it is in the best interest of the Owner to do so to the extent allowable by law.
