This project consists of the demolition of county owned buildings at two separate locations. Two buildings located at 337Church Street are vacant and available for demolition upon approval. One building located at 1710 Garfield Ave shall be demolished when vacated. Bidder shall submit one bid for both properties. County is responsible for asbestos testing and removal if any is detected. Demolition of three structures at two locations. They may include a certified or cashier s check, letter of credit, cash in the amount of 10%, or a bond. Please list the name, address and phone number of the local bonding agent along with the home office for a bond. If a bid guaranty in the form of the bond is posted, then the bid guaranty and performance bond attached to the specifications as Exhibit 1 is to be used. In the alternative, if a bid guaranty in the form of a letter of credit, cashier s or certified check or cash is posted, then a performance bond in the form attached to the specifications as Exhibit 2 is to be used. Bonds on standard insurance forms, aia forms or any other form Other than those attached to the specifications will be unacceptable. Failure to submit a proper bond with the bid package may result in Rejection of the bid. Ashland County may reject any or all of the bids on any basis and without disclosure of a reason. The failure to make such a disclosure shall not result in accrual of any right, claim, or cause of action by any unsuccessful bidder against Ashland County. The work must be completed within 90 days after structures are vacated.
