The work consists of furnishing and installing permanent non-electrified fences and related essential components. A complete barbed, woven, or wooden fence system may be installed in strict accordance to a single manufacturers recommendations, subject to review and acceptance by the approving official. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the Ulster County Soil and Water Conservation District, negotiable United States Government Bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to at least ten (10%) percent of the Base Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. UCSWCD reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities, and to select the bid that best assures efficient performance of work Bids may be held for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days from the date of bid opening for review and investigation of bidder qualifications All inquiries in reference to technical issues shall be directed to Jake Wedemeyer at the Ulster County Soil and Water Conservation District, at (845) 883-7162, Ext. 3 or jake.wedemeyer@ny.nacdnet.net
