This project is located in is located in the Green Mountain National Forest in Woodford, VT, in Bennington County and is for the replacement of the culvert located on Forest Road 73 at milepost 1.55 and Forest Road 273 at mile post 2.8. The culvert replacement work shall include, but is not limited to, excavation, removal of existing culvert, layout and construction of the plate arch, stream simulation, roadway reconstruction, and approach work. This Invitation For Bids (IFB) is a Total Small Business set-aside. The magnitude of this project is considered moderate with an estimated price range of between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Please send all questions to the Contract Specialist, Bradley Martin, at Bradley.Martin2@usda.gov no later than August 14, 2023. Submitted questions with answers will be posted via an Amendment once available. Please email all bid documents, to include copies of any bid bonds, to the Contract Specialist, Bradley Martin, at Bradley.Martin2@usda.gov. Construction will occur in 2024, but it shall be completed by October 31 of the year that construction started. All in-stream work shall be between July 1 and September 30 of the same year. Final project completion shall be no later than October 31, 2024.
