Golden Age Manor which is owned and operated by Polk County is soliciting proposals for reconstruction of two parking lots. Existing asphalt to be excavated and disposed of and reconstruction of new asphalt parking lots. Background Information: There are two parking lots (North and South). Approximate dimensions are listed on the attachment. Interviews- conducted if needed by 8/2/2023 Selection by: 8/4/2023 Written Questions Received by: 7/21/2023 Contract Negotiation- within 2 weeks of selection Polk County reserves the right to decline to respond to any questions if, in Polk Countys assessment, the information cannot be obtained and shared with all potential vendors in a timely manner Golden Age Manor/Polk County intends to award the contract on approximately 8/4/2023. The work shall be complete before the end of 2023. The Polk County Board or its designee reserves the right to reject all proposals, or any proposal which, in their opinion, will be inappropriate to carry out the work under the terms of the contract and to waive any irregularities. This document constitutes a request for sealed proposals, including prices, from qualified individuals and organizations to furnish those services and/or items as described herein. Polk County is exempt by statute from payment of certain taxes
