The project includes replacing existing 6" water main with new 8" ductile iron water main in advance of a road resurfacing project in October. PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS: 1,200 feet of eight (8) inch D.I. water main by open-cut methods; 1,400 feet of eight (8) inch D.I. water main by horizontal directional drilling;o 13 gate valves (8"); and,o Abandonment of approximately 3,600 feet of six (6) inch water main. The open-cut work shall be completed by October 1, 2023. The trenchless work shall be completed by June 1, 2024.
