Wastewater Treatment Plant Phase 1 Repairs and Upgrades. The Project consists of: one blower, air distribution header, aeration basin air diffusers, aeration basin RAS/WAS airlift, walkway assembly between aeration basins, recoating of chlorine contact basin, generator, and electrical improvements per the drawings and specifications. Information and Bidding Documents for the Project will be available upon request, digitally from Malone/Wheeler, Inc., ("Issuing Office"). Bidders may produce hard copies of plans, specifications, and bidding documents at their own cost. Please direct questions regarding downloading plans, specifications and bidding documents to Dennis Lozano, P.E. at 512.899.0601 or dennisl@malonewheeler.com. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond with Power of Attorney attached or cashier's check of five percent (5%) of the total amount bid (sum of all bid items) made payable to the Lazy Nine MUD 1A. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any informalities and irregularities in Bids received. Contract Time is of the essence and all Work shall be substantially completed within 180 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages are $500 per calendar day.
