As of August 22, 2023 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Board of Trustees of the Village of River Grove, Cook County, Illinois, that sealed bid proposals will be received for the following improvement: . This project consists of parking lot improvements within the Village of River Grove. The work to be performed will include earth excavation for proposed pavements, removal and replacement of curb and gutter, sidewalks, landscaping restoration of disturbed sections of the parkways, binder and surface installation, and other related work. All bid proposals offered must be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check in an amount which shall not be less than Five Percent (5%) of the total amount of the proposal. All bidders wishing to obtain bidding documents must be approved by the Village prior to obtaining bidding documents. All bidders must provide proof that they are prequalified with the Illinois Department of Transportation to perform at least 50% of the value of the work before being issued bidding documents. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of the Proposals without the consent of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of River Grove for a period forty-five (45) days after the scheduled time of bid opening. The successful bidder for the work will be required to furnish sufficient insurance to the Village of River Grove and the Engineer against all damage claims that might arise due to the negligence of the Contractor and will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond in the amount of the contract. The Village is using local funding for the completion of the project. The Village of River Grove reserves the right in receiving these bids to waive technicalities and reject any or all bids.
