The County Board of Supervisors will be receiving sealed bids for a total replacement for the County Courthouse telephone system including the District 6 Probation Office located in Fremont, NE. County plans to implement a new VoIP-capable hosted telephone system, including voicemail, unified messaging, voice recording, and other applications at these two sites. The telephone system will be run on a separate ethernet cabling system, which will require the County Courthouse to be wired with new minimum category 6 ethernet cabling. There will be two runs of minimum Category 6 cabling to each computer/phone location and one run to phone or alarm locations only. In addition, the courthouse will be wired, and appropriate hardware added to provide WiFi access throughout the entire courthouse building, including floors 1, 2, 3,4, basement and Judicial Center (3rd floor, including County Court and District Court). The sealed bids are to be plainly marked "Attention County Board of Supervisors, Hosted VoIP Based Telephone System". The County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to waive informalities and irregularities and to make awards on bids which furnish the materials and construction that will, in their opinion, serve the best interests of County. The County Board of Supervisors also reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids.
