Background Narrative: The Work consists of the Improvements including, but not limited to, adding and installing a new 12-inch water main from Hero Way to Broade Street, and 8-inch laterals along Broade Street, West Drive, and Bagdad Street. Also includes, but is not limited to, all appurtenances, valves, valve boxes, etc.. Project Architect & Plans: The design and construction management services for the Project are being provided by Walker Partners, 6504 Bridge Point Pkwy., Suite 200, Austin, Texas 78730. Question Acceptance Deadline 07/26/2023 06:00 PM EDT Questions are submitted online No Questions and Answers to be posted on the City of Leander website on or before July 28, 2023, by 5:00 PM CT Project Base Bid consists of the furnishing and constructing approximately 749 LF of 12" C900 PVC water line, approximately 2,518 LF of 8" C900 PVC water line, approximately 225 LF of 24" steel encasement pipe by jacking or boring, approximately 409 LF of 18" steel encasement pipe by jacking or boring, approximately 256 LF of 18" steel encasement pipe by trenching, 8 fire hydrant assemblies, abandoning and grout-filling approximately 416 LF of 8" water line, abandoning and grout-filling approximately 722 LF of 6" water line, abandoning and grout filling approximately 236 LF of 4" water line, approximately 3,585 SF of Type II concrete driveways, one (1) 12" permanent insert valve, one (1) pressure reducing valve vault, valves, fittings, and all necessary appurtenances for a complete project.
