The project consists of (a) Milling and replacing 159.26 CU YDS of intermediate course asphalt concrete and (b) Milling and replacing 159.26 CU YDS of surface course asphalt concrete. A full description of the work to be performed at the project site can be found in the Unit Price Schedule section of the bidding documents. Please also check the design specifications section of the contract documents for other important details. WORK MUST BE COMPLETED BY DECEMBER 31, 2023 Bidder further agrees to pay as liquidated damages, the sum of $250.00 for each consecutive calendar day after the completion date. This penalty is stipulated in Article 12 of the General Conditions. It is estimated that this project will cost $90,027.04 to complete. Each bid must be accompanied by a performance bond prepared on the form of the performance bond attached hereto, duly executed by the bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company approved by the Owner, in the amount of 100% of the bid. Requirement for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of then contract The Paulding County Board of Commissioners and the Village of Broughton reserve the right to reject every bid and to waive informalities, irregularities, and errors in the bidding to the extent permitted by law.
