This solicitation has been extended because I will be out of town during the period of Q&A's. Thus to ensure that Q&A's and be properly effective I have extended the solicitiaton. A. Project Title: Completion of 30 ton air handler for greenhouse bay 4 for the USDA, ARS location in New Orleans, LA. B. Competition is set aside for Small Businesses. Applicable NAICS code is 238220 Plumping, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors. C. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204 the magnitude of this construction project is between $100,000 and $250,000. D. Prospective offerors shall complete block 14, 15 and 19. E. Prospective offerors shall be registered with Systems for Awards Management(SAM)with an active registration. The period of performance of this contract is 90 days from award. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The amount of the bid guarantee shall be 20% percent of the bid price or $3,000,000.00, whichever is less The site visit registration deadline is July 18th, 2023, at 3:00pm CST, any registration request received after this date will not be accepted. The contract price includes the total amount for premiums that the contractor attributes to the furnishing of performance and payment bonds required by the contract SCOPE OF CONTRACT The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, transportation, utilities, and supervision for complete construction of the following in accordance with the clauses, specifications, drawings, attachments, and other terms and conditions set forth in the attached scope of work.
