SCOPE Niagara County Department of Public Works Parks Division is seeking an ADA compliant kayak launch system to be used at the Clyde L. Burmaster Park on Lower Mountain Road in Ransomville, New York. The proposed project site is located on the banks of Bond Lake. Photos of the location have been included. SPECIFICATIONS It is the intent of these specifications to describe an ADA compliant kayak launch system. For purposes of consistency, the information that follows references EZ-Dock specifications. Bids for the ADA compliant kayak launch system shall include all costs for delivery and technical support. This is a one-time purchase. Refer to Exhibit I: for EZ Dock ADA Compliant Kayak Launch drawing. Installation of a concrete abutment and ADA Compliant Kayak Launch shall be conducted by Niagara County Department of Public Works. Bids will be considered only from equipment manufacturers and from authorized dealers of equipment manufacturers, who must be capable of providing parts, service and technical support for the model bid. The bidder certifies and warrants that all major components offered are compatible with each other and are approved for the application by all the component manufacturers for the intended use as stated in the specifications. The bidder shall submit, with the bid, detailed specification circulars and all data necessary to describe all equipment offered and to demonstrate conformance with this specification. The County, however, reserves the right to request any additional information deemed necessary for proper evaluation of bids. A contract, if awarded, will be on the basis of materials and equipment as described in the specifications, and "or equal" items submitted by the bidder and accepted by the County. If equipment offered differs from the provisions of these specifications and the proposal, such differences shall be explained, in detail, and bid will receive careful consideration if deviations do not depart from the intent of the specifications and proposal and are in the best interest of the County
