Senior Center Lot Resurfacing Project. Bids Are to Be Submitted on the Bid Forms Furnished With the Bidding Documents. Each Bid Must Be Accompanied by Either a Bid Bond in an Amount of 100% of the Bid Amount With a Surety Satisfactory to the Aforesaid Holmes County Commissioners or by Certified Check, Cashier S Check, or Letter of Credit Upon a Solvent Bank in the Amount of Not Less Than 10% of the Bid Amount in Favor of the Aforesaid Holmes County Commissioners. Proof of Authority of the Official or Agent Signing the Bond Must Accompany Bid Bonds. Each Proposal Must Contain the Full Name of the Party or Parties Submitting the Proposal and All Persons Interested Therein. Each Bidder Must Submit Evidence of Its Experiences on Projects of Similar Size and Complexity. The Owners Intend and Require That This Project Be Completed Within 60 Days of Notice to Proceed. Bidders Must Comply With Federal Labor Standards and Prevailing Wage Rates in Accordance With the Davis-bacon Act. Bids Shall Be Subject to the Condition That the Right is Reserved to Hold Bids for a Period Not Longer Than 60 Days After the Date of Opening and/or to Award at Any Time During the Period. The Holmes County Commissioners Reserve the Right to Reject Any and/or All Bids, or to Increase, to Decrease or Omit Any Item or Items and/or to Award to the Lowest and Responsible, Responsive Bidder. The Holmes County Commissioners Reserve the Right to Waive Any Informalities or Irregularities in the Bid Received. ADDENDA AND INTERPRETATIONS: No official interpretation of the meaning of the plans, specifications or other prebid documents will be made to any bidder orally. Request for such interpretation should be in writing addressed to Susan Moore, 200 Main Street - Annex, Coshocton, Ohio 43812, susan@ordevelopment.com, 740-622-0529, and to be given consideration, must be received by Tuesday, July 25, 2023. Any and allsuch interpretations and any supplemental instructions will be in the form of written addenda to the specifications which, if issued, will be posted by Friday July 21, 2023. Failure of any bidder to receive any such addendum or interpretation shall not relieve such bidder from any obligation under his/her bid as submitted. All addenda so issued shall become part of the contract documents
