Cambridge Water Department Power Meter Replacement. Question Deadline 08/25/2023 at 10:00 AM ET All questions must be submitted in writing and either emailed to purchasing@cambridgema.gov or hand delivered to the Office of the Purchasing Agent, Elizabeth Unger, during normal business hours to 5 Bigelow Street, Cambridge, MA 02139 An Addendum will be issued to notify all bidders of the questions and answers. The estimated project value is: $ 37,000.00. A. Provide all labor, materials and equipment to: 1. Furnish, install and configure thirteen electrical power meters as specified herein. 2. The contractor shall provide services to remove thirteen existing Siemens 4700 Power Meter and install thirteen new Power Meters, specifications below. 3. Customer will provide filler plates for the Power Meter installation. 4. The contractor is responsible for removing power and reestablishing power from the power meters which are mounted and wired to a General Electric AKD-8 style 3 switchgear panelboard. 5. The contractor will remove, de-energize if possible or re-route all spare wires from the sixteen existing power meters. 6. The contractor will coordinate with Cambridge Water Department personnel prior to the removal of power and prior to reenergizing power. 7. All equipment furnished or installed under this agreement must be tested onsite to the standards according to the manufacturer of the equipment. 8. The contractor will provide written documentation to the owner that the power meters have been installed and are operating as specified herein. 9. Upon the replacement, installation and wiring of the power meters, the contractor will program the new power meter's parameters to match the removed power meter's parameters. 10. The Contractor shall demonstrate the accuracy of all electrical parameters such as volt, ampere, watt, power factor, frequency and kWh totalizer functions. 11. Upon the completion of the project, the Installer will clean all work areas inside and outside of the electrical switchboard enclosure. 12. The contractor shall provide two power monitors as spare parts.
