As of August 16, 2023, the project has not been awarded. A timeline for award has not been confirmed. A. The Work of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. All labor, materials, tools, oversight, and permits required to furnish & install replacement lamps or lighting fixtures in 14 buildings plus exterior paved areas. 2. Survey the subject buildings and exterior paved areas to identify and locate existing fixtures to be re-lamped or replaced and confirm the indicated lamp/fixture types and quantities. 3. Provide on-site support to Owners energy rebate consultant, including access to replacement lamps and fixtures, installing Owner-furnished light loggers, and removing installed loggers and related meters. The work includes but is not limited to All labor, materials, tools, oversight, and permits required to furnish & install replacement lamps or lighting fixtures in 14 buildings plus exterior paved areas. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, in accordance with the project specifications in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount. A Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. Prevailing Wage Rates shall apply. Questions may be submitted through Penn Bid's "Clarifications (From Vendors)" tab on or before 4:00 PM on August 2, 2023. Responses will be provided via Penn Bid to all registered parties. Immediately following the due date and time, all bids received through Penn Bid will be opened online at the Engineer's Office and referred to the owner for final award. The Board of Trustees will accept the bid of the lowest responsible bidder when the kinds and quality of supplies and equipment offered are the same or are equal, but they reserve the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to cure any non-material oversight, to withhold award for a period of sixty days, and to award the bid in the best interest of Lehigh Carbon Community College as judged by the Board of Trustees.
