Inquiries should be directed to the contact(s) listed. The scope of the project includes a new 5,853 sf PEMB and masonry office building. Interior spaces include a shared secure lobby with a suite in each wing. The Municipal wing (east) includes a courtroom, judge's office and secretary/clerk space. The Public Safety wing (west) houses the police department with office space, patrol room, and ancillary spaces. The rear corner of the building is a shared workout/exercise space with secure vestibule/corridor for after hours access. At the rear of the building (south) is a 10-car PEMB canopy for the patrol units with an attached walkway connecting to the building. The building includes all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and includes a new generator located on an adjacent parking island. The new parking lot connects to the existing City Hall parking to the south. Site work includes rework of the stormwater detention area, removal of existing trees, and removal of the existing grate inlet, to be reconstructed at a new elevation and tied to both new and existing underground drainage. The new parking lot also connects to the adjacent bank parking lot. Site work includes reworking drainage along Stadium Street and on the adjacent bank parking lot to direct water run-off to new inlets. The City of Buffalo, Leon County, Texas, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to waive any informalities, or to make an award to other than the low bidder. It further reserves the right to limit the amount of the award and eliminate a portion of the work or add additional work as required to keep the total contract amount within the funds budgeted; to award any part or combination of parts of the project it deems necessary; and any other rights established under the laws of the State of Texas.
