Brown County Board of Commissioners are accepting sealed bids for repairs to the Courthouse, Courthouse roof, Courthouse breezeway, Judge s chambers and jury room at 148 W. 4th, Ainsworth, NE. Ribbed metal roof will require that the ends of the ribbing be plugged and areas between the roof and the Courthouse building, including exterior surfaces, will need to be sealed to prevent insect and animal infestation, as well as any other item listed in the inspection report. Walls in breezeway and jury room hallway will need repair. The winning bidder will be responsible for removal of any building materials from any demolition or repairs. The bidder to whom the contract is awarded will be required to submit a payment bond with a corporate surety agent and company in a sum not less than the contract price, pursuant to Neb. Rev. Stat. 52-118(1). No contract shall be entered into until such bond has been made, filed, and approved
