Sealed bids are sought by Montgomery County, New York according to Project Specifications for the Communications Tower Project. Each Bidder shall deposit, with his or her bid, security in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid in the form and subject to the requirements set forth in the Instructions to Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw his or her bid within forty-five (45) days after the date set for opening thereof, but any bid may be withdrawn at any time prior to closing time for the receipt of bids. The Successful Bidder shall be required to provide a Performance and Labor and Material Bonds in the amount of their Bid in accordance with the Project Specifications. Bidders shall not include sales and compensating use taxes in the cost of materials that are to be incorporated into this project. All questions shall be in writing and submitted within ten (10) calendar days of the Bid Due Date. Replies will be issued by Addenda, mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Owner as having received the Project Specifications. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be biding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications, including answers by telephone, will be without legal affect All work under this contract shall comply with all applicable ordinances, regulations, laws and with all applicable rules of the New York State Department of Labor. All work shall be completed by August 1, 2024 The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in bids, or to reject any or all bids, or to make an award to other than the low bidder. This shall be a prevailing wage rate project.
