Statute Sec. 143-128.1(A), Orange County is soliciting proposals from qualified design-build teams interested in providing professional design and construction services for the Lake Orange Intake Tower Replacement Project, hereinafter referred to as "the Project". The new intake tower will be located in roughly the same location as the existing (in-situ) intake tower and will be integrated into the existing 48-inch RCP barrel/outlet pipe. The intent of this RFQ is to select a Design-Build team, by Qualifications-Based Selection (QBS), to provide design and construction services for demolition of the existing Lake Orange intake tower and in-situ installation of a new intake tower with appurtenances. Questions and inquiries related to this RFQ shall be submitted in writing to Jovana Amaro, Purchasing Agent at jamaro@orangecountync.gov, copying Christopher J. Sandt, P.E., County Engineer at csandt@orangecountync.gov by 5:00 p.m. EST on Friday, July 14, 2023.
