The City of Richmond is accepting bids for the construction of two parking garage repairs; Crenshaw Avenue Garage -7 South Crenshaw Avenue Richmond, VA 23221 and Colonial Avenue Garage - 18 South Colonial Avenue Richmond, VA 23221. The project will provide general contracting services that include but are not limited to stairwells removal of rust and paint; repairing minimal steel and concrete portion sections; and priming and repainting, included in the contract documents. Total project contract duration is One Hundred and Twenty (120) consecutive calendar days. All wok shall be accordance with the project plans and specifications prepared by Dunbar Engineers The person submitting the request shall be responsible for its prompt and actual delivery by August 1, 2023 Such documents may emailed to Corliss Spurlock at Corliss.Spurlock@rva.gov The City of Richmond has a commitment to the development of its minority and emerging small business communities. We therefore encourage the use of minority and emerging small businesses on all City contracts to the fullest extent reasonably possible. On this particular contract, it has been determined that minority and emerging small business participation of 10% is reasonably possible given the availability of minority and emerging small businesses for the scope of work covered by this contract. The Citys Office of Minority Business Development is available at 646-3985 as a resource in identifying local MBEs and ESBs. Your assistance in helping the City achieve its priorities is greatly appreciated.
