The project includes the milling and paving of a portion (approximately 6,475 SY) of Kings Highway located in the Landing area of the Township of Roxbury. The project will include approximately 1,000 SY of asphalt base repair. A certified check or cashier's check made payable to the order of the Township of Roxbury, or a duly executed Bid Bond, in the amount of 10 percent of each bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00 must be deposited by the Bidder together with a Surety Consent evidencing that he can obtain the required Performance Bond and Payment Bond for 100% of the contracted amount. The successful Bidder shall be required to deliver to the Township an executed Performance Bond and Payment Bond of a responsible indemnity company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and listed in OMB Circular 570. Small, Minority and Women's Business Enterprises are encouraged to submit bids. Proposals must be placed in sealed envelopes and delivered to the Township of Roxbury Finance Department, 1715 Route 46, Ledgewood, New Jersey 07852, with the proposal description and the name and address of the Bidder clearly marked on the outside of the envelope. The Township of Roxbury reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or to waive any minor informalities or irregularities in the proposal received and to accept the proposal which is in the best interest of the Township. Document Acquisition: The Township will not be held responsible for contract documents received by any source other than the Township. The Township will only package contract documents upon receipt of payment and postage paid return addressed mail package. Proposals shall be made on the forms provided and made part of the Contract Documents, which shall be submitted intact. Question Deadline 07/21/2023 Shall be in writing, addressed to the owner's representative stipulated in the specification
