The proposed work consists of exterior alterations of the rear of the City Hall building and rear entry sidewalk area, located at 1140 Terex Road. Work includes the addition of a weather awning to the rear of the building, installation of a concrete pad, and the purchase and installation of a premanufactured standalone canopy at the City Hall rear entry sidewalk area located in the City of Hudson, Ohio, in accordance with plan drawings and specifications which are on file in the office of the Public Works Department. This project is funded in part with Community Development Block Grant Funds (CDBG) provided by the County of Summit Community and Economic Development under Summit County Executive Ilene Shapiro. A representative from each bidder is required to attend and provide proof of identification at the time of registration. Representatives are required to stay for the duration of the meeting in order to be eligible to submit a bid for the project. Bids must be accompanied by Bid security in the form of either a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the full amount of the bid, or a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the ORC, in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to the City of Hudson. In the case of disruption of national communications or loss of services by electronically within two hours prior to the deadline for submission of bids, the City will delay the deadline for bid submissions to ensure the ability of potential bidders to submit bids. If this occurs, instructions will be communicated to potential bidders. The City of Hudson, Ohio reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, and to waive any nonconformities not involving price, time, or changes in the work. FINAL COMPLETION 60 days
