Bids are being asked for provision of all necessary labor, equipment and materials required for the installation of the KPUD provided fiber cables from the KPUD Node located at 16451 NW Church Road, Seabeck to the Hintzville community using the strand and lash construction methods along PSE poles, and installation of conduit in Kitsap County ROW. Coordinate with participating homeowners for the proper location and installation of the conduit/duct and demarc placements. Installing KPUD provided vaults, pedestals, multi-port terminals (MPT), and ROC drops. Contractor will be required to provide all conduit and rolled duct as indicated in the drawings and other specifications located in the Related Documents section of this webpage Questions regarding this bid should be directed to Jim LeCompte via email at telecombid@kpud.org or telephone 360-689-3132. Fiber splicing is not part of the scope of work being bid for this project. KPUD has pre-purchased and will provide fiber, vaults, and storage racks to the contractor. The contractor is responsible for including all other materials necessary for construction of the project in their bid including but not limited to: strand, suspension clamps, conduit (rolled and duct), anchors, preforms, lashing wire, lashing clamps, straps and spacers, conduit bends, etc.
